Composition
Each gram contains tetramisole hydrochloride 300 mg.
Pharmacology
Tetramisole is an anthelmintic in treatment of many nematodes, especially active against intestinal nematodes. It paralyze susceptible worms by stimulating the nematode ganglia. Tetramisole is quickly absorbed by blood, excreted through feces and urine quickly.
Indication
Tetratong WSP 30% is effective in the treatment of ascariasis, hook worm infestation, pinworms, strongyloides and trichuriasis. Also lung worms in ruminants. It is also used as immunostimulant.
Dosage
Large animals (cattle, sheep, goats): 0.05 gm per 1 kg body weight with drinking water or mixed with feed. Poultry: 0.05 gm per 1 kg body weight. with drinking water for 12 hours only.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 7 days.
Milk: 1 day.
Egg : 7 days.
Target Animals
Cattle, sheep, goats and poultry.
