Composition:

2.36g sachet: Diminazene diaceturate 1.05g, excipient q.s.f 2.36g.

Descriptions:

A yellow or orange, crystalline powder, odourless. It will become the orange-red in the light or hot situation..

Indications: 

Cattle, sheep, goats: Trypanososis and Piroplasmosis. Poultry: babesiasis，Trypanosoma evansi，Castellanella equiperdum. It has a very good effect in treatment of Eperythrozoon suis , 2 to 3 times administration will achieve good therapeutical  effect usually.

Pharmacological action: 

Diminatan is Aromatic broad-spectrum anti-hemozoic drug. It interfere hemozoic aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis to educe zoophobous effect. It has an action against trypanosomatid, Giardia lamblia, Eperythrozoon in blood. After administration, it has a high blood level and short duration, so it is used in the treatment of disease, prophylactic effect is not good.

Usage and administration:

Deep intramuscular route, dissolve the content of one sachet in 12.5ml of sterile water, inject 5ml per 100kg bodyweight.

Side effect and contraindication:

1. The drug is toxicity, sometimes, it could be seen restless, urinating frequently and muscle twitch and so on in used animals.

2. The intramuscular injection has the irritation, it may cause swelling. When in large dose administration, different site in-depth intramuscular injection is recommended.

Precaution: 

The camel is sensitive, not suitable. The horse is quite sensitive so it is not suitable with the large dose. The buffalo is sensitive, should be cautious when Continual application; the milk production quantity of cow will reduce because of the large dose.

Withdrawal time:

Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 21 days after last treatment, milk: 3days.

Storage and expired time:

Store in a cool and dry place below 30 ℃, the reconstituted solution can be stored during 15 days in a fridge.
