Each gram contains Oxytetracycline 50mg.
Indications
Oxytetracycline 5% powder is a broad spectrum antibiotic and is active against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Species of Streptococci, Staphylococci, Pasteurella, Breucella, Corynebacteria, Erysipelothrix, Colifirms and Salmonella are sensitive to Oxytetracycline 5% Powder. Some Rickettsia and the large viruses are also affected and active against other organisms such as Pseudomonas, Proteus is useful. It is effective against someprotozoa.
Oxytetracycline 5% powder is indicated for prevention and treatment of infections caused by bacterial and Mycoplasma organisms in poultry i.e CRD, sinusitis, infectious coryza, pneumonia Blue comb & synovitis.
