Factory best selling Albendazole Tablet Usp - Sulfadimidine Injection 33.3% – Fangtong

Presentation: 
A clear, bright, odourless, slightly yellowish solution containing Sulphadimidine Sodium BP(Vet) 33% w/v. 

Uses:
The treatment of infections caused by or associated with sulphonamide -sensitive organisms (including protozoa) in particular foul-in-the-foot in cattle, coccidiosis in cattle and sheep and the pneumonia-enteritis complex in calves and pigs. 
Dosage and administration:
By subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous or intraperitoneal injection. In severe, fulminating infections, it is advisable to continue parenteral therapy at intervals of 24 hours. 

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION :
By deep intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
Cattle, sheep and Goats:  
Initial dose: 6 ml/10 kg b.w.
Maintenance dose: 3 ml / 10kg body weight for 5 days.
Pigs, Dogs and Cats:  
Initial dose: 0.75-1.5 ml per 2.5 kg bwt.
Maintenance dose: Half this dosage, in two equal fractions, should be given daily. Average treatment period is 5 days.

Contra-indications, warnings, etc 
1. Therapeutic doses are relatively non-toxic, but prolonged treatment has been known to cause agranulocytosis, haemolytic anaemia and a vitaminosis-K. 

2. Sulphonamides occasionally cause crystallurea, particularly when urinary pH is low. Always ensure adequate water intake during treatment. 

3. Occasional local tissue reactions may occur following subcutaneous injection. particularly if large volumes are injected at one site. When injecting subcutaneously, the dose should be divided, administered at different sites and well massaged. 

4. Intravenous injections should be given slowly occasional instances of drug shock’ have been reported.

Store in a cool, dark place. (temp. below 30℃)
