On May 15, 2025, Dr. Tang Lei, Technical Director, and Li Bingyan, Procurement Director of New Hope Group’s Chengdu Fenglan Technology Company, visited Fangtong for a strategic exchange and inspection. The delegation was warmly received by Tang Jianhua, General Manager of Fangtong, accompanied by the company’s senior executives and department heads.
Founded in 1982 by renowned “Reform Pioneer” Liu Yonghao, New Hope Group has evolved into a modern private enterprise primarily focused on agriculture, animal husbandry, and food production. Throughout its four-decade history, the group has maintained its core focus while strategically expanding across the value chain. The company has established itself as one of China’s leading suppliers of meat, eggs, and dairy products. In 2023, New Hope Group achieved remarkable milestones, selling 17.68 million pigs and 389 million poultry, while producing 28.76 million tons of feed—securing its position as the global industry leader. The group currently ranks 363rd on the Fortune Global 500 list. Fangtong, a domestic leader in veterinary pharmaceutical preparations, has cultivated strong partnerships with prominent breeding enterprises across China, delivering premium products backed by specialized technical support.
During the meeting, General Manager Tang provided a comprehensive overview of the existing collaboration between Fangtong and New Hope Group. Sales Director Tang Wang detailed Fangtong’s evolution, market positioning, client portfolio, and export operations. He Yan, who heads the quality inspection center, and Deputy General Manager Liu Lixia presented briefings on production management, GMP implementation standards, and biosecurity control systems. Technical Director Bi Hailin engaged with the visiting experts on Fangtong’s flagship products, target animal applications, and supporting experimental data.
The New Hope representatives outlined their visit objectives and assessment criteria before conducting a thorough inspection of Fangtong’s facilities. Their evaluation encompassed critical operational areas including pharmaceutical production workshops, R&D laboratories, quality testing facilities, and feed additive production lines. The inspection also involved a meticulous review of documentation to verify compliance with GMP quality management standards. Fangtong’s unwavering commitment to quality excellence—demonstrated through strict adherence to regulatory requirements, robust internal controls, and precision in all operational aspects—made a significant impression on the visiting team. The experts expressed particular appreciation for Fangtong’s advanced production processes, integrated automation systems, and rigorous quality assurance protocols. Both parites identified substantial opportunities for enhanced technical collaboration, with a shared vision of leveraging complementary strengths to accelerate innovation in animal health products.
This high-level exchange has reinforced mutual confidence and established a foundation for expanded partnership initiatives. Fangtong continues to pursue innovation-driven growth and seeks to forge stronger alliances with leading breeding groups both domestically and internationally. These collaborative efforts aim to advance animal health technologies and applications, ultimately strengthening livestock industries across China and global markets.
