Each 2.36g contains:
Diminazene diaceturate ............................. 1.05g

Antipyrine ................................................ 1.31g 

A yellow or orange, crystalline powder, odourless. It will become the orange-red in the light or hot situation.

Diminazene is aromatic broad-spectrum anti-hemozoic drug. It interferes hemozoic aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis to educe zoophobous effect. It has an action against Trypanosomatid, Giardia lamblia, Eperythrozoon in blood. After administration, it has a high blood level and short duration, so it is used in the treatment of disease, prophylactic effect is not good.
Antipyrine with a major role in the elevating increased body temperature and sweating after administration of diminazene diaceturate, enable the body back to health as soon as possible.

For the treatment of Trypanosomiasis, Babesiosis and Theileriasis in cattle, sheep, goats and horses:
• Trypanosomosis due to Trypanosoma congolense, T. vivax and T. brucei.
• Babesiosis due to Babesia bovis, B. bigemina, B. ovis, B. motasi, B. canis and other species of Babesia.
• Theileriosis due to Theileria annulata.

By deep intramuscular injection.
Dissolve 1 sachet of 2.36g powder in 12.5 ml of sterile water for injection to obtain a ready to use solution of 7% (about 15ml).
The recommended dosage for all animals is 3.5 mg of Diminazene per kg body weight (1ml/20kg) in a single injection. For infections with T. brucei, the dosage should be doubled (2ml/20kg). Infections due to resistant strains, the dosage may be increased to 8 mg Diminazene per kg body weight (1ml/8.75kg), but without injecting more than 4g Diminazene per animal. 
Usually one injection is enough for the treatment. If the animal does not recover after one injection, consult a veterinarian for further treatment. 

The drug is toxic, sometimes it could be seen restless, urinating frequently and muscle twitching.
Intramuscular injection has irritation, it may cause swelling. When large quantity of the solution is administered, it’s recommended to give the injection at several sites in order to avoid local pain.

Camels are quite sensitive, not suitable. 
Horses are sensitive, not suitable for large dose. 
Buffalos are sensitive, be cautious when continual application. 
Milk production quantity of cow will reduce because of large dose. 

Meat and offal: 21 days; Milk: 3 days.
