Albendazole                        2500mg

Excipients  q.s. to                1 bolus

Used in the prevention and treatment of gastro-intestinal and pulmonary strongyloses, cestodoses, fascioliasis and dicrocoelioses. ALBENDAZOLE 2500 is ovicidial and larvicidal. It is active in particular on encysted larvae of respiratory and digestive strongyles.

Orally:

Cattle and camels:

1 bolus per 250 kg body weight.

1 bolus per 200 kg body weight if used against liverflukes.

Consult your veterinarian for best dosage regime for sheep and goats.

Albendazole is safe product, effective dosage is around 8-15mg/kg in treatment and control of infestations caused by gastro-intestinal and lung nematodes, moniezia, to liver flukes infestations, 2-3mg/kg more dose is recommended. As drugs resistance varies from place to place, consult local physicians for best ideal dosage regime.

Rash, urticaria, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, hepatic, abnormalities and acute renal failure associated with albendazole treatment has been observed in few cases, cats may exhibit symptoms of mild lethargy, depression and transitory anorexia.

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.

The product is well tolerated at the recommended dose rates. Accidental overdosage may cause depression, anorexia, intestinal cramps, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting and even death in severe case.

Do not use in lactating dairy cattle.

Do not administer to female cattle during the first 45 days of pregnancy or for 45 days after removal of bulls.

Do not administer to ewes during the first 30 days of pregnancy or for 30 days after removal of rams.

Meat: 14 days.

Milk: 3 days.

Store in a cool , dry  and dark place below 30℃.
