Composition

Each tablet contains Albendazole 350mg and Ivermectin 10mg.

Pharmacology

Antiparasitic drugs. Albendazole has broad-spectrum insect repellent activity and has a strong repellent effect on nematodes, tapeworms and trematodes. Its mechanism of action is to combine with the tubulin in the worm to prevent it from multipolymerizing with a-tubulin to form microtubules, thus affecting the cell reproduction process such as mitosis, protein assembly and energy metabolism in the worm.

Ivermectin has a good repellent effect on in vivo and in vitro parasites, especially arthropod insects and in vivo nematodes, and is mainly used to drive away gastrointestinal nematodes, lung nematodes and ectoparasites in cattle, sheep and other animals. Its deworming mechanism is to promote the release of r-aminobutyric acid (GA-BA) from presynaptic neurons, thereby opening GABA-mediated chloride channels. Chloride ion flow can reduce cell membrane impedance, causing slight depolarization of the postsynaptic membrane rest potential, thereby interfering with signal transmission between neuromusculars, making the worm body relax and paralyzed, resulting in the death or excretion of the worm.
